Timber Gates UK - Entrance Gates




Specifications:



Entrance gates are delivered in base coat stained in 'straw' preservative.

All entrance gates have mortice and tenoned dowelled joints and stop chamfers to the stiles and rails (see drawing above for dimensions). All rails and brace crossings are bolted with zinc plated bolts.

Other choices include :-

rounded or pointed tops
handing of gate - which side will gate be hinged on when viewed from outside the property (see sketch above)
untreated or dipped in base coat preservative (no other finishes offered)
Unless otherwise stated, gates are supplied right-hang hand.

All entrance gates are manufactured out of the best quality Russian and Scandinavian Redwood from ecologically managed forests. This is a softwood of excellent quality which offers a high grade finish for entrance applications. It readily accepts all paints, preservatives and stains.



Standard - RC1 4'2" (1.25m) high with 5 bars


Standard - RC1(ER) 4'5" (1.25m) high with 6 bars


Note: Gates 5' wide have only 1 upright brace rail Gates 4' & 3' wide have a diagonal brace rail only



Universal - RC2 4'2" (1.25m) high with 5 bars


Universal - RC2 (ER) 4'5" (1.25m) high with 6 bars


Note: Gates 5' wide and less have only 2 brace rails which cross in the centre of the gate



County - RC4 4' (1.2m) high with 5 bars


Note: Gates 4' wide and less have only 1 upright brace rail Gates 4' & 3' wide have a diagonal brace only



Cottage - RC5 3' (0.9m) high

Standard, Universal and County entrance gates are also available in hardwood. Price on application.

Non standard and one off sizes can be made to order. Price on application.

The following Richmond, Ryedale, Hambleton and York gates are available, made to order only, to any size, in any timber. Price on application.
